12 Days later- Script

This is our script it has changed a lot since we did our last one as we found out that we had a lot to do and not enough time like with having the girl walking down the street so we decided to have a news report voice over instead, so people will know what has happened and what might happen to the next victim.

12 Days Later...- Script

TITLE COMES ACROSS SCREEN – 12 days later…

Begin with a pan shot from a low angle.

During this pan we see a body under a sheet with her foot out of the sheet. This foot is covered in mud and blood. The pan then moves to a young girl laying on the bare floor.

During the pan there is a news report going as a voice over.

Miceala Witherden is now being held hostage in a garage, which is unknown.

We start with a POV shot of girl looking at herself, looking around the room. She sees a bite on her arm and starts to panic, she looks around the room and see a sheet, this makes her want to know what is under so pulls the sheet and reveals a dead body. As she see the dead body she jumps back.

 We move to a mid high shot. Girl is sat on the floor Panicking as she has just seen the dead body and is very scared as she has a bite on her arm and wonders whether that is going to happen to her next.

The girl then starts to feel possessed as she scratches her arm and everywhere around her body.

She then goes back to sitting on the floor normal as she has an alter ego.

As she gets more and more possessed the closer the camera shots are.

Camera flashes 8 times from the girl being normal and vulnerable sat on the floor to the girl standing looking possessed.

There is also a strobe light going off to add effect at the same time.

Girl normal sat on the floor.

Girl possessed, standing.

Girl normal sat on the floor.

Girl possessed, mid shot.

Girl normal sat on the floor.

Girl possessed, close up.

Girl normal sat on the floor.

Girl possessed, extreme close up on eyes.

Girl normal sat on the floor.

The lights suddenly turn off and the girl starts to breathe louder and louder as she doesn’t Know what is going to happen next.

Man enters the room.

You see the silhouette of the mans body.

(door slams closed)

There is total darkness.

(hear footsteps)

This is then a POV shot from the girls perspective. She is breathing heavily.

A torch shines on the floor in front of the girl, the space is empty.

The torch shines on the floor for the second time. This time the emptiness is filled by a tray of food.

We never see his face.

Silence.

Fades into blackout.

This week we have had to change our scripted as we have made a lot of changes to what we are going to do and that we needed to make our script  longer as it didn't last the whole to pages which was required as it suggested that our film wasn't long enough. We have also done a lot of editing as we have done filming twice which meant we had two tapes and we had to decided on which parts of each were the best to make our film much better.
